Welcome to Bridgeville. Bridgeville was originally part of St. Clair Township (1763), and then a village within Upper St. Clair Township (1806) for almost 100 years. Known for a bridge over Chartiers Creek where people met to trade goods, it was a logical name choice in 1901 when Bridgeville officially incorporated.
5148 residents were recorded in the 2010 census. Bridgeville is served by Chartiers Valley School District.
