Welcome to Cecil, a township on the northern border of Washington County.  Cecil was one of the 3 original townships of Washington County.  Cecil's territory was reduced several times until 1808 when the current limits were defined.

Cecil is served by award winning Canon-McMillan School District.  The 2010 census shows 11,271 residents.

Cecil is a growing township with many new housing developments offering single family homes, patio homes, first floor living for seniors and more.  Prices range from low $100's and up. 

Cecil includes 3 parks and many recreational activities.  Southpointe is located in Cecil and offers employment opportunities, housing and golf.
