Canonsburg
Located 20 minutes southwest of Pittsburgh, Canonsburg is a quiet community of 8,600 with its own main street lined with shops and offices. A wide range of homes[G1]  includes stately Victorians, bungalow-style brick houses and some new construction. Cecil
Founded in 1781, Cecil is a family-friendly town of 10,000 residents. The Township has 10 acres of municipal parks where the community gathers for the Fall Festival, Classic Car Show, Easter Egg Hunt and other festivities. North Strabane
About 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, North Strabane is a residential community of 12,000 residents. Neighbors gather at Municipal Park to use the playgrounds, softball field and three pavilions. The Township is served by the Canon-McMillan School District.   http://www.northstrabanetwp.com/
Peters Township
The 17,500 residents of Peters Township enjoy a large community recreation center with tennis courts and a number of community youth sports teams. The Township has its own library and school system. www.peterstownship.com 
South Strabane
Founded in 1831, South Strabane is a close-knit community of 8,000 residents. In the last decade it has undergone a rapid growth of residential and commercial development. Students attend the Trinity Area School District. Housing options include single-family and duplex units, townhomes and homes in less densely populated neighborhoods. www.southstrabane.com
North Franklin
North Franklin Township, located 30 minutes south of Pittsburgh, is home to approximately 5,000 people. There is ample commercial development as well as many housing options. The minor league baseball team, the Washington Wild Things, is based in North Franklin. Students attend the Trinity Area School District.   http://www.northfranklintownship.com/
South Franklin
South Franklin Township is located in southern Washington County approximately 25 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. The Township is home to over 3,700 residents, most of whom live close to I-70 and Route 18, offering easy access to Pittsburgh. Bethel Park
Bethel Park is situated in the hills south of Pittsburgh, just 8 miles from downtown. The city, part of Allegheny County, has 33,000 residents and a diverse variety of housing, shopping and transportation services. It is a Home Rule Municipality with its own school district, mayor, library and park system.   http://www.bethelpark.net/
South Park
Situated in the southern part of Allegheny County, South Park has a population of 14,000. One of the Township’s main attractions is the 3,000 acre recreational area known as “South Park,” most of which is within the town boundaries. Upper St. Clair
The Township of Upper St. Clair is a primarily residential community of 20,000 residents located 10 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. Located in Allegheny County, Upper St. Clair has its own library system and school district. South Fayette
Located in Allegheny County, the Township of South Fayette has 12,000 residents and is run by a Board of Commissioners who oversee South Fayette’s school district, park system and other services.  http://www.south-fayette.pa.us/
Bridgeville

The Borough of Bridgeville is a 20 minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh. With a population of approximately 5,300 residents, Bridgeville has affordable housing, a community association, an athletic association, a summer recreation program, a public library and many senior services.
